Salem, Massachusetts is widely known for the Salem Witch Trials, and every October hundreds of thousands of visitors make their way to Salem for its monthlong Haunted Happenings.
Being local to Salem, our team put our heads together and came up with some things to do, places to eat, and other recommendations we'd give to a friend if they were coming in from out of town. Salem has a lot to offer, especially this time of year, so while these are the spots that were recommended most by our team, there are plenty of other great options out there. This is just a great place to start!
The Jonathan Corwin House in Salem, Massachusetts, USA, known as The Witch House, was the home of Judge Jonathan Corwin (1640–1718) and is the only structure you can visit in Salem with direct ties to the Salem witch trials of 1692.
