"Loud Pow" stems from a joke among east coast skiers. It refers to the sound of skis sliding over extremely hard ice, which is not uncommon in these parts. If you are out shredding the loud pow—you are ripping it up on an icy day. Crafted from a special blend of coffees sourced from Honduras, Costa Rica, and Nicaragua, this medium roast boasts a delightful mild citrus acidity complemented by inviting notes of toffee, and chocolate.
The best part about this collaboration is that Loud Pow benefits Elevate Youth, a local non-profit whose mission is to empower youth to explore the outdoors alongside mentors, sharing awe and the richness of our natural world. Their mentors work alongside them to elevate their voices as the next generation of diverse environmental stewards.
This winter, Elevate Youth is partnering with Wachusett Mountain and Weston Ski Track to offer 12 downhill and Nordic ski trips. These trips are designed to introduce young participants to the world of skiing, providing all necessary gear, rentals, and expert instruction at no cost. Some of the youth are stepping onto skis for the first time, while others will be returning for their third or fourth outing.
I'll be sad to see this one go...
Love this bean/roast! I was a bit hesitant to try, but really glad I did because it's so smooth and the flavor was uniquely delicious.
Beans that make your mouth go WOW!
This coffee smells like chocolate bars in the bag and taste great when used to pull shots from my espresso machine at home. I would 100% recommend this for anyone that makes drip coffee or espresso.
Tried it for the first time today in my french press and loved it.
