This excellent coffee showcases a delightful balance of bright acidity reminiscent of sweet citrus or pink apple and a warm sweetness reminiscent of honey and dried fruit. The finish is long and satisfying, with a touch of chocolate.
Nsoga Iwezya is a coffee-growing region in the Southern Highlands of Tanzania. The region's unique terroir, characterized by its high altitude, fertile volcanic soils, and ample rainfall, creates ideal conditions for growing some of the country's best coffee.
Tanzania's coffee scene has been booming lately, thanks to local farmers embracing new ways of doing things. Most of the coffee there comes from small farms, and until recently, these farmers used a wet-hull process at home, similar to what's common in Indonesia. However, with investments in new equipment and washing tanks, Tanzania has produced much more high-quality coffee in the last twenty years.
Roast Schedule
This is a limited release coffee, which means the number of times we roast this coffee each week is also limited. Orders may be delayed 1-2 days to ensure freshness, and your coffee will be roasted within 24 hours of when your order was placed (or on Monday, if you place your order after we begin production on Friday).
