We have offered beans from Burundi a few times in the past, and for good reason! We adore these coffees - as they exhibit excellent acidity, depth and variety of flavor, and body.
We considered several other African coffees including Kenyan and Ethiopian before we settled on this Burundi, as it was the standout in the lot. We roast this coffee light, as it exhibits excellent acidity with flavors ranging from toasted almond, dark cherry, cacao and a note of rhubarb tartness.
