We are thrilled to be offering a Kenya AA in our limited-release lineup this summer! This is a classic washed Kenya profile, featuring lots of juicy, bright red fruit notes.
The rich volcanic soil in this region is high in phosphorus, which some experts believe contributes to Kenyan coffees’ signature sparkling brightness. We roast this one a bit slower than our other washed African coffees, in order to maximize sugar browning. This sweetness provides a lovely counterpoint to the acidity, creating an intensely juicy cup.
This is a limited release coffee, which means the number of times we roast this coffee each week is also limited. Orders may be delayed 1-2 days to ensure freshness, and your coffee will be roasted within 24 hours of when your order was placed (or on Monday, if you place your order after we begin production on Friday).
Running out of coffee is no fun! We've put systems in place to ensure you get the freshest coffee possible, shipped as quickly as possible. Most orders roast and ship the following business day.
