"Loud Pow" stems from a joke among east coast skiers. It refers to the sound of skis sliding over extremely hard ice, which is not uncommon in these parts. If you are out shredding the loud pow—you are ripping it up on an icy day. Crafted from a special blend of coffees sourced from Honduras, Costa Rica, and Nicaragua, this medium roast boasts a delightful mild citrus acidity complemented by inviting notes of toffee, and chocolate.
The highlight of this collaboration is that Loud Pow supports Elevate Youth, a local nonprofit dedicated to empowering young people to explore the outdoors with mentors.
This winter, Elevate Youth is teaming up with Wachusett Mountain and Weston Ski Track to host 10 ski trips—both downhill and Nordic. These trips aim to introduce young participants to skiing by providing all the necessary gear, rentals, and expert instruction completely free of charge. For some, it will be their first time on skis; for others, it’s an opportunity to build on their previous experiences, returning for their third or fourth adventure.
