This coffee is part of our daily roasting schedule, which means we are roasting it every day, Monday - Friday. Your coffee will be roasted within 24 hours of when your order was placed (or on Monday, if you place your order after we begin production on Friday).

Running out of coffee is no fun! We've put systems in place to ensure you get the freshest coffee possible, shipped as quickly as possible. Most orders roast and ship the following business day.

All of our coffees are made from 100% freshly roasted coffee—no additives, flavorings, or fillers.

While some of our tasting notes reference flavors like nuts, chocolate, or baked goods, these are simply natural flavor notes found in the coffee itself. Our roasting facility does not process or manufacture any products containing common allergens such as nuts, dairy, or gluten. Just coffee beans!

Black Velvet is our smoothest dark roast, crafted to deliver deep, rich flavor without the bitterness you’ll find in most coffees this bold. During roasting, we carefully extend the sugar-browning stage (known as the Maillard reaction) to highlight flavors of burnt sugar, toasted cocoa, and malted milk balls. Inspired by our hometown of Salem, it’s a little mysterious, a little magical, and it's soon to be your new daily dark roast.
