"Loud Pow" stems from a joke among east coast skiers. It refers to the sound of skis sliding over extremely hard ice, which is not uncommon in these parts. If you are out shredding the loud pow—you are ripping it up on an icy day.
Crafted from a special blend of coffees sourced from Honduras, Costa Rica, and Nicaragua, this medium roast boasts a delightful mild citrus acidity complemented by inviting notes of toffee, and chocolate.
But the best part about this collaboration is that Loud Pow benefits Elevate Youth, a local non-profit whose mission is to empower youth to explore the outdoors alongside mentors, sharing awe and the richness of our natural world. Their mentors work alongside them to elevate their voices as the next generation of diverse environmental stewards.
Elevate Youth is partnering with Wachusett Mountain and Weston Ski Track this winter to offer 12 downhill and Nordic ski trips. These trips are designed to introduce young participants to skiing, providing all necessary gear, rentals, and expert instruction at no cost. Some of the youth are stepping onto skis for the first time, while others will return for their third or fourth outing.
For every bag of Loud Pow sold, $2 will be donated to Elevate Youth.
