Black Velvet is our smoothest dark roast, crafted to deliver deep, rich flavor without the bitterness you’ll find in most coffees this bold. During roasting we extend the Maillard phase to highlight burnt sugar, toasted cocoa, and malted milk balls. Inspired by Salem, it’s a little mysterious, a little magical—and about to be your new daily dark roast.

ROAST SCHEDULE

This coffee is roasted daily, Monday – Friday, typically within 24 hours of your order. Orders placed after Friday’s production window roll into Monday’s roast schedule.

Running out of coffee is no fun! We've put systems in place to ensure you get the freshest coffee possible, shipped as quickly as possible. Most orders roast and ship the following business day.

100% freshly roasted coffee. No additives, flavorings, or fillers. We roast only coffee, and our facility never processes nuts, dairy, gluten, or any other common allergens.

Love this coffee! My friend from Boston just introduced it to me after I was just a little disappointed in another brand. Literally over the moon with Black Velvet (though admittedly, I haven't tried any other Atomic coffee yet). As a relatively new coffee drinker, I can see already that I'm going to be picky. And for now, I pick Atomic Black Velvet!
