Whether you've never touched an espresso machine or you've been making drinks at home and want to sharpen your technique, this class meets you where you are.
We start with the basics: how grind size, dose, and extraction time work together to change the way your shot tastes. You'll pull shots, taste the difference between over-extracted and under-extracted espresso, and learn how to dial in a recipe that actually tastes good. It's the kind of understanding that makes everything else click.
From there, we move to milk. You'll learn how to steam consistent, glossy microfoam (the foundation of every good latte) and practice texturing until it starts to feel natural. Then we bring it all together: pouring your first latte art heart, with coaching and feedback along the way.
You'll also walk through machine care, covering the cleaning habits that keep your equipment performing and your coffee tasting right.
The goal isn't to master everything in one session. It's to understand how espresso works, build real confidence at the machine, and leave with a foundation you can keep improving on at home.
Dialing in espresso: Understand how grind size, dose, and timing shape your shot, and taste the difference for yourself.
Milk texturing: Steam consistent, glossy microfoam, and learn what to listen to and look for.
Latte art foundations: Pour your first heart with real-time coaching.
Tasting with intention: Learn to identify over-extracted and under-extracted shots so you can self-correct at home.
Machine care: The cleaning basics that protect your equipment and keep your espresso tasting right.
