This rich and chocolate-forward coffee delivers a delightful combination of sweetness and complexity. Bold cocoa flavors lead the way, balanced by the bright, fruity notes of sweet berries, offering a satisfying and layered cup.
Sourced from the Ayarza region of Guatemala, this is our first coffee from this up-and-coming area known for its stunning volcanic lakes. While Ayarza is less traveled compared to its famous counterpart, Lago Atitlán, its high altitude and fertile volcanic soil provide the ideal conditions for exceptional specialty coffee. Local farmers handpick their best cherries, which undergo a natural drying process over 10 days to enhance the coffee’s depth and character.
This coffee is versatile and perfect for various brew methods. It shines as a French press, showcasing its full-bodied richness, and is equally delightful in an immersion dripper pour-over, bringing out its vibrant fruitiness.
