Our Latte Art Workshop is best designed for those with some prior experience using an espresso machine and steaming milk. If you're comfortable pulling shots and creating microfoam, you're ready for this class! We'll focus on refining your milk texture and practicing latte art—no time will be spent covering the basics. If you're brand new to making espresso at home, or would like to like to learn more about espresso itself (dialing in, extraction, grind size, etc.) we recommend starting with our Barista Fundamentals class first!
Take your skills to the next level!
In this 90-minute workshop, you will learn:
- Milk chemistry
- How to achieve and steam consistent micro foam for lattes
- Techniques to pour 3 basic latte art designs:
- Heart
- Ripple heart
- Stacked heart
We will cover the tools needed and why they’re important, touch upon milk chemistry, and dial in our milk steaming and pouring technique. This workshop will help you learn the basics and give you the knowledge to help you troubleshoot in your future practice sessions. This workshop covers “free pour” designs; etching is not included.
The ticket price includes:
