We're thrilled to introduce our second-ever anaerobic coffee, and our very first offering from Zambia!
Sourced from the renowned Kateshi Estate, which has been a cornerstone of Zambia's coffee industry since the 1970s, this coffee is a true testament to the region's growth and potential. As one of the first farms to establish a wet mill, Kateshi remains at the heart of coffee production in Zambia, with some of its coffees even placing first and second in the country’s prestigious Taste of Harvest competition.
This coffee is not just about flavor; it's also about impact. Thanks to Covoya, the importer who connected us with this incredible batch, the Kateshi community has seen significant investments, including access to clean water for 20,000 residents, support for 3 local schools, and a health clinic that serves over 4,000 people. The farm also sponsors the Kateshi Coffee Bullets, a soccer team competing in Zambia's First Division.
Processed with a light anaerobic method, this coffee delivers bright, tropical fruit flavors that shine without being overpowering. Expect a clean, fruity profile with notes of citrus, pineapple, and subtle tropical sweetness, all balanced by a crisp finish. Whether brewed hot or iced, this unique offering is a vibrant, memorable cup that showcases both the craftsmanship behind the coffee and the dedication to the community.
