Originally called “Cosmopolitan Espresso,” Cosmo was designed to bring harmony to a trio of coffees from three different continents. Today, it’s still our go-to for a dialed-in double shot—but it’s just as delicious as a pour-over, drip, or AeroPress. A natural Brazil lays the foundation with body and sweetness, a washed Costa Rican from Tarrazú adds structure and clarity, and an Ethiopian Yirgacheffe brings bright, citrusy lift. The result? A medium-light roast with notes of ripe plum, cranberry, and marzipan—juicy, layered, and easy to love.

ROAST SCHEDULE

This coffee is roasted daily, Monday – Friday, typically within 24 hours of your order. Orders placed after Friday’s production window roll into Monday’s roast schedule.

INGREDIENTS

100% freshly roasted coffee. No additives, flavorings, or fillers. We roast only coffee, and our facility never processes nuts, dairy, gluten, or any other common allergens.

Cosmo is my Cornerstone

Been a customer for years and Cosmo is my cornerstone and the (hithertofore) unsung hero of my home espresso setup. Atomic’s quality control, consistency with the blend and roast is just impeccable. I rarely need to adjust my machine between batches and the only time I do is when I screwed up my settings on accident. So that’s irrelevant here really. Ahhh, but is it sexy, you ask? Actually, yes; yes it is. It’s not only cosmic, it’s also cosmopolitan. And what better than a cosmopolitan that is acceptable to drink before noon? Nothing, I tell you. Stop living in disappointment and get the sort of blend that is evergreen and never fails to satisfy.

Cosmo makes a very nice cappuccino, stands up well to milk.

Excellent espresso roast

Great for pour over, I think it’ll be great with espresso too (I use a mokapot)! It is fragrant, fruity and a little nutty, with little bitterness.

Roasted 2 days before it was delivered. The limiting factor is USPS so I might just buy it in store the next time I get a batch.

Flair 58 espresso, 20g 1:2

Once I got it dialed in with my flair 58, I've been pulling really nice espresso shots with this coffee. The flavor when you first take a sip is pretty subtle and very smooth, then the aftertaste is very sweet and just begs you to take another sip. I finished my shot while writing this and I wish I had time for another.
