Grown at extreme altitudes on the Gera Estate in western Ethiopia, this coffee thrives in cool temperatures and nitrogen-rich soil, resulting in dense beans with vibrant, fruit-forward character. The estate follows organic farming practices and avoids chemical fertilizers or insecticides. It’s also deeply committed to sustainability and social impact—providing free housing, education, healthcare, and more for all employees. After harvest, cherries are dried slowly on raised beds, helping concentrate sweetness and develop the signature blueberry and stone fruit notes that make natural Ethiopian coffees so beloved. Sweet, clean, and worth the wait.
