Guatemala La Bolsa doesn't hold back. Notes of mango and cantaloupe come through rich and ripe, not subtle, and the honeysuckle adds a floral brightness that keeps the cup from feeling heavy, opening up even more as it cools.

Finca La Bolsa in Huehuetenango has been a benchmark for Guatemalan coffee since the 1950s, operated by the Vides family across generations. The black honey process leaves a significant amount of mucilage on the seeds as they dry, and that shows up as a syrupy complexity in the cup. It's a method that demands careful attention at every stage, and the payoff is a coffee with real depth.
