This coffee strikes a beautiful balance between sweetness and brightness. Medium roasted to bring out notes of toffee and toasted almond, it still holds onto the juicy cherry and stone fruit character that high elevation coffees from Ethiopia are known for. The result is a layered cup with round body, gentle acidity, and a smooth finish that makes it shine across brew methods.
Grown at elevations above two thousand meters, this coffee develops exceptional density during harvest. That extra density brings out deeper sweetness and complexity, allowing us to roast it just dark enough to develop toffee and nut flavors while preserving vibrant fruit character.
If you enjoy Colombia Huila or love dialing in Cosmo as espresso or drip, Ethiopia Gedeo will feel like a natural fit. It brings out the richer side of Ethiopian coffee without losing the clarity and lift the region is known for.
